Scott's upward journey with Greenhous DAF continues.

Scott Westwood joined Greenhous DAF in December 1993 as a relief driver in the parts department.  Scroll forward 23 years and he has just been appointed Fleet Parts Sales Manager at the Willenhall based dealership. Scott is immensely proud of his achievement and is hopeful that it will encourage others who start their careers in Greenhous to stay with the company and be rewarded for their loyalty and hard work.

Scott, who is from Wednesfield, left school to spend a year as an apprentice electrician before taking up a job as a plumber's mate.  It was the latter that led to Greenhous DAF taking him on as a relief parts van driver. Soon Scott was elevated to a van sales driver where he was encouraged to develop parts sales with his customers as well as deliver parts.

In July 2004 Scott was promoted to the role of Parts Sales Executive, this enabled him to seek out and develop relationships with large retail companies as well as national fleet accounts. In his new position Scott is the overall manager for Fleet parts sales and works closely with Parts Director, Steve Crick. He maintains the national fleet accounts, maximising the promotion and sales of parts to the industry. He is also in constant contact with DAF assuring compliance through the contracts between Greenhous and DAF.

The parts department has a parts van sales team along with 2 other parts sales executives all of whom Scott is keen to pass on his expertise to, instigating sales with customers, promoting trusted, friendly relationships and developing their personal work ambitions. Having made his own path from an inexperienced newcomer to a highly respected manager, Scott is very aware that staff should be up-skilled and looks forward to developing new initiatives to make this happen.

Scott is a family man, married to Rachel and they have a daughter named Summer. In his spare time he admits to being a techno geek loving anything to do with computers and technology.
