Following on from the creation of Greenhous DAF Telford, after the buyout of Halesfield Truck and Van Ltd, a new position of Chargehand became available.Up stepped Josh Whitehouse to take the opportunity with both hands of improving his career prospects.
Josh had been at Greenhous DAF Willenhall as an HGV Technician for the past 4 years and this new role now gives him a step up on his career ladder.Josh always wanted to get into the motor trade when he left school but waited until the opportunity came to work for a large company.He served his apprenticeship at Keltrucks and passed his 3 year training there.
A move to Telford to work for Maidens on MAN trucks came his way and he spent about 6 years working for them prior to joining Greenhous. Josh has a lot of experience to bring to his Chargehand role and says: “I have responsibility for what goes on in the workshop.That includes quality checks and helping the technicians to make sure they understand the job at hand and to help iron out any issues they may have.DAF have set standards that we are measured against and working as a team is essential to maintain the highest customer service which Greenhous are proud of.”
Josh has a double reason to celebrate as he will be marrying his partner Kelly at the end of August. Josh and Kelly have a son Jack, who is eight. All at Greenhous Commercials wish them both best wishes and happiness as a married couple.
In his spare time Josh is a keen mountain biker, making good use of Cannock Chase which is near to his home in Bridgetown, Cannock.He also enjoys clay pigeon shooting and Formula One.
