​Liam takes on the role of Aftersales Manager at Greenhous DAF Telford.​

After the recent acquisition of Halesfield Truck and Van Ltd, Greenhous have begun an investment programme at the renamed Greenhous DAF Telford site to improve the facilities and services to its customers and staff. Welcomed into the role of Aftersales Manager is Liam White who has been with Greenhous for the past 9 years.

Liam, a family man from Telford, started his Greenhous career at Vauxhall in Shrewsbury where he was part of the customer service team looking after web enquiries and booking customers in for sales appointments. This led to a period working with the Customer Care team booking service and MOT for brand customers. After a short time as a service advisor at Greenhous Vauxhall in Telford Liam returned to Customer Care as the Team Supervisor for all of the Greenhous car and van brands.

A move into management came with his appointment as the Acting Service Manager for cars and commercials at Greenhous Ford in Newtown, Powys. This led to his promotion to Assistant Service Manager for both Greenhous Vauxhall dealerships.

He entered into the world of trucks as Service Support Executive which enabled Liam to gain an insight into the operations of Greenhous Commercials with specific focus on DAF trucks customers across all of its sites in the West Midlands.This gave him an excellent grounding, backed up with attending DAF courses.Now the role at Greenhous DAF Telford brings all of these experiences and skills together and Liam is delighted to be leading the team there.

Liam says: “We have a good team of six technicians, including an apprentice, and they are ably supported by the service, parts and administrative staff. I am enjoying the building of relationships with our customers.We see our business partners far more often that in the car world and a trusting relationship is built up over time and needs care and attention.

“At DAF Telford we have an ATF lane for MOT testing which undergoing some refurbishment.We offer MOT preparation including steam cleaning and have an air-con recharging system on site. We have plans to increase our parts storage and develop our parts sales point.Being part of Greenhous means that our IT provision has been upgraded making procedures quicker and more efficient.

“We are proud to be the DAF service and maintenance business for the Telford area. Greenhous now have DAF sites in Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton and Birmingham and have recently taken over the Adams Morey Group in the South of England.”
