Greenhous Group acquire D W Commercials Ltd of Tamworth.

The Greenhous Group, one of the leading independent automotive companies in the UK, is delighted to announce the addition to its Greenhous Commercials division of D W Commercials Ltd, located in Tamworth just off Junction 10 of the M42 in a recently modernized and extended premises.

Founded and operated by owners Daryl and Kate Winyard, D W Commercials have built a first-class reputation for offering a full range of services for commercial vehicle operators, including maintenance for any make of vehicle, 24/7 breakdown assistance, on-site repairs, MOT preparation, and in recent years the addition of a full pet-reg and ADR bay. The company extended its service further when it became a DAF Service Partner in 2017.

Greenhous Commercials and D W Commercials have a long history of trading, with Greenhous supplying parts for all makes of truck and trailer with a regular delivery service into the workshop. The business will now operate under the trading name Greenhous DAF Tamworth.

For the Greenhous Group this a further expansion of the commercial side of the business which has seen in the past couple of years the addition of DAF franchises in Birmingham, Telford and now Tamworth.In July 2019 Adams Morey, a company on the south coast of England with 8 commercial sites, became part of the Greenhous Group.Adams Morey operates DAF sales, service and parts as well as marketing Fiat LCV’s.

Greenhous are delighted with the recent news from DAF Trucks UK that they had an incredible, record-breaking year in 2019, officially achieving 25 years of UK Market Leadership. DAF had a record market share of 30.5% of the 6T+ market and 29.4% of the 16T+ market. Greenhous are also pleased that the vast majority of DAF vehicles for the UK market are built at Leyland Trucks in Lancashire.

We carry over £3 million of DAF genuine and all-makes parts across our sites and we will grow the parts stock here in Tamworth where businesses can come in and collect, or they can access our very regular parts delivery van service into the Tamworth area. We will also be looking for opportunities to expand the workshop facilities, where customers can be assured that all work is carried to the highest standards by DAF trained technicians”.
