An announcement from Kevin Comerford

Hi Everyone,

After 34 years as Managing Director of Greenhous Commercials, the time has come to announce I shall be stepping down from the role, initially moving into the position of Dealer Principal for Greenhous Commercials Shrewsbury as of today, before retiring in February next year.

I will be succeeded by John Turley as Director/General Manager for Greenhous Commercials, reporting into Kevin Swinnerton in the newly created role of Group Managing Director – Truck Division. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish John and Kevin all the best with these new
positions – I know the business will be in the very best of hands.

Looking back on my time with Greenhous Group, it was 1988 when I first joined, initially as a salesperson, moving into a number of positions before being appointed Managing Director of Greenhous Commercials in 2016.

I will look back on my time with the business with tremendous happiness and a great deal of pride in what we have achieved, including accolades and awards such as PACCAR Finance UK Dealer of the Year 2018 and DAF Trucks European Silver Award for Truck Sales 2018 as well as the most recent win of Dealer of the Year 2022.

I am extremely proud of Greenhous and every colleague who has helped us achieve what we have. Your hard work and dedication have paid dividends and I would like to give my sincerest thanks to you all. The friendships I have made with both Greenhous Staff and Customers are ones I will never forget!

As I’m slowing down, I’m going to miss all aspects of Greenhous. Most of all the people but even down to the Health and Safety, Environmental and the ISO Meetings - We all know how much I love them, ha!

In closing, if I could give one piece of advice, it would be to work hard, and you will get noticed but also to enjoy your work and have fun! As my next chapter awaits, I am hoping to become involved in some charity work for a local hospice and get back into playing golf!

Wishing you all the very best.

Kevin
